Our Johns Hopkins Health Care & Surgery Center – Bethesda provides surgical treatments for patients in the Bethesda, Maryland area.

Surgical Technician - non certified

Fulltime/ Day Shift

No call or weekends

$10, 000 Sign On Bonus ( if qualified)

Position Summary : Under direction of a Registered Nurse performs duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team in surgical services such as scrubbing on all types of operative procedures, obtaining and preparing instruments and equipment and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment. The JHSCS Surgical Technician will flex to the Central Sterile Processing Unit and other areas of the JHSCS when needed to support the daily operations of the JHSCS.

High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Surgical Technician program or successfully completed an Accelerated Alternative Delivery Surgical Technology (AAD-ST) certificate program.

Surgical Technician certification and Minimum of One years prior experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.

CPR required
