Vascular Tech

The Vascular Technologist is a clinical staff position with responsibility for specified vascular ultrasound duties within Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland (CSCM), a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. Associate college degree desirable, preferably in a clinical discipline.
• Graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program, or graduate defree in nursing (RN) with additional training in vascular ultrasound-required

Experience/Licensure/Certification:

• RVT vascular ultrasound certification required.
• Current BLS or CPR required

Other Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable; familiarity with use of computers required.

• Demonstrated competence in performing vascular ultrasound through clinical training program or experience in a reputable vascular laboratory, including but not limited to knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiac imaging of all standard planes and views, basic physics of ultrasound, and basic vascular measurement.

• Ability to operate ultrasound imaging equipment and video recording equipment.

Salary Range: Minimum $42.00 /hour - Maximum $46.00 /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
