The Vascular Technologist is a clinical staff position with responsibility for specified vascular ultrasound duties within Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland (CSCM), a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. Associate college degree desirable, preferably in a clinical discipline.
- Graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program, or graduate defree in nursing (RN) with additional training in vascular ultrasound-required
Experience/Licensure/Certification:
- RVT vascular ultrasound certification required.
- Current BLS or CPR required
Other Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable; familiarity with use of computers required.

Demonstrated competence in performing vascular ultrasound through clinical training program or experience in a reputable vascular laboratory, including but not limited to knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiac imaging of all standard planes and views, basic physics of ultrasound, and basic vascular measurement.

Ability to operate ultrasound imaging equipment and video recording equipment.

Salary Range: Minimum $42.00 /hour - Maximum $46.00 /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
