General Summary:

  • The Speech Language Pathologist provides medically prescribed services for inpatients in an acute care setting to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients. Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information. Contact with external contacts involves providing or getting factual information. Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
  • Experience in Acute care setting is required

Salary Range: Minimum 51.00/hour - Maximum 51.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
