SUMMARY
The role involves coordinating patient entry into the Community Psychiatry Program, ensuring a streamlined point of entry for all mental health service referrals. Responsibilities include identifying cases that qualify for case management and psychiatric rehabilitation, while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of available resources. The position also entails triaging, referring, and scheduling all requests for psychiatric care to the appropriate providers in a compassionate and responsive manner.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Mental Health, or a closely related field, along with two to three years of relevant experience.

No certification, registration, or licensure is required.

Analytical skills are necessary for resolving problems that involve basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.

Strong communication skills are essential, both orally and in writing, with an ability to provide empathy in challenging interpersonal situations.
Salary Range: Minimum 24.54/hour - Maximum 40.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
