Summary:
The Sibley Senior Association Program Specialist Senior is responsible for effective program management for the Sibley Senior Association and ensures diversified program, administrative, clerical and secretarial functions are completed. Also responsible for ensuring Community Benefit data for entire hospital is documented and reported.
The Sibley Senior Association Program Specialist Senior oversees daily SSA office operations and ensures a welcoming, high-quality experience for members and visitors while leading and supervising staff and volunteers. This role manages membership services, including registration, retention, billing, and database integrity; develops new member benefits; and serves as an ambassador to grow membership and strengthen internal and community partnerships. Responsibilities also include planning, promoting, and executing educational programs, special events, and field trips; overseeing communications such as newsletters, website content, and promotional materials; coordinating marketing and outreach efforts; managing contracts, vendors, space, supplies, and financial processes; evaluating program effectiveness for continuous improvement; and supporting community health initiatives and reporting in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
This role plays a key part in our community engagement efforts and requires travel within the Washington DC area, with occasional evening and weekend work to support critical events and initiatives.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- College degree required, Masters degree preferred
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience that is directly related to the designated program.
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
Salary Range: Minimum 35.84/hour - Maximum 59.14/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
