Position Summary:

Under the direction of the supervising occupational therapist, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating general therapeutic and recreational activities which reinforce and relate to the patient=s overall treatment plan and are appropriate to the functional and/or developmental needs of the patients.. Activities will be held during days, evenings and weekends for inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric populations.


Knowledge of normal/abnormal behavior and psychological principles and the ability to comprehend and transmit detailed/complex instructions and information related to patient treatment normally acquired through one or more years of related college level course work in occupational therapy, psychology or related field.

Work Experience:

Six months prior experience in a clinical psychiatric setting preferred.


Annual CPR certification


Full Time, Day shift (40 hours)

8:00 am - 4:30 pm
