Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab The IR Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work with a team of physician assistants, residents, and physicians. The NP will work in clinic, inpatient, Prep/PACU to work up patients for their procedures. The JHH IR lab performs an average of 40 cases per day in 6 rooms using imaging procedures to guide cathetars and instruments to area where procedure or treatment is to be performed (venous access, drain/ tube placements, injections, embolisations, stents, biopsies).
Shifts: will work four 10-hour day shifts; no weekends or on-call
Qualifications:
- MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program required.
- Active Maryland RN license and Acute Care NP certification are required
- Active Maryland CDS and Federal DEA; along with PECOS enrollment for ordering services for Medicare patients
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
- If a new graduate ACNP 5 years or greater of ICU or Radiology RN work experience preferred
- IR NP work experience highly preferred
