As Administrative Assistant - Food Services, you will:
-Provide administrative and accounting support to the Nutrition Services Director.
-Responsible for general accounting and tracking of data for department.
-Provide clerical support to Director and department as needed.
-Provide financial support of the food services cost center.
-Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
-Point of contact for vendor payments and troubleshooting.
-Responsible for financial reporting to units and end-users across campus on charges and requisitions.
-Works with finance to accrue for monthly and year end expenses as appropriate.
We'd prefer that you have 3+ years administrative and accounting support experience.
-Hours: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p
-Occasional weekend coverage
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
- Associate’s Degree in business management or related field or three-five years’ related experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong spreadsheet/word processing skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
