Position Summary:

Typically reports to Department Head such as Administrator/Director/ Sr. Director. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, schedules and collection and management of data. Provides admin and project support to a large departmental staff managed by one Department Director. Project management of multiple, large and complex projects across the organization. Responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of the project, and serves as the designated point-of-contact for procedural issues. Projects to include but not limited to: overseeing the assessment and evaluation processes, and detailed analysis that leads to recommendations.

Knowledge:

Thorough knowledge of office and administrative procedures and ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required. 8 years of proven experience in specific jobs that require a high level of critical thinking and accountability may substitute for degree.

Work Experience:

Requires 2 years related experience at the administrative level to prepare complex reports, analyze data, and solve problems with a high level of accountability and critical thinking. (Eight years required without a Bachelor’s degree)

Skills:

Strong project, office management, and communications skills, analytical ability to manipulate data; maintain office manuals, reference materials and database structures.

Strong oral and written communication skills necessary to interact diplomatically with diverse groups of people, exchange information and produce written correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations.

Requires constant attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
