Schedule: 30 hours (5 - 6 hour days)
Job Summary:
HHS LPN provides, skilled nursing care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient's home under the supervision of an RN. Employs the nursing process to perform skilled care for patients requiring in-home health and support services. In addition to specific and skilled treatments and procedures, the LPN provides health teaching to patients and care givers, preventive health screening, referral and coordination of services in the agency and the community, and advocacy for the patient in obtaining health-related goals. The Licensed Practical Nurse ensures adequate service provision, including scheduling of visits, based on patients' identified needs and priorities for care under the direction of an RN.
Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland
- Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification
- Valid Maryland drivers' license and current auto insurance
- 2 years experience in an acute care setting
