Assistant Director of Nursing, Perioperative Services (OR/PACU/ASU)

The assistant director of nursing position is the perfect role for someone who builds strong relationships with physicians, colleagues, other organizational leaders and perioperative staff. You will be actively participating in patient care redesign processes to enhance current success and improve outcomes. You will have support and encouragement from the executive nursing leader and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

5 years OR RN experience, along with at least 5 years of progressively responsible nursing administration experience, required. Asst. director or nurse manager level experience is required. OR experience is a must. Experience in an academic and community hospital setting preferred. Knowledge/experience with LEAN and Team Stepps is a plus. Evidence of data management and analysis needed.

Master's degree & BSN required; Doctorate degree would be a plus

Maryland RN License required; Certification in Nursing Admin or CNOR is ideal

24/7 responsibility for Perioperative Division
