The certified athletic trainer (ATC) is responsible to provide direct patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient care centers as assigned and is supervised by a licensed physical therapist, physical therapist assistant and/or physician. Demonstrates competency in providing services specializing in athletic injuries and general rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders. Provides clinical care activities utilizing value and evidenced based care to ensure a quality culture, and to satisfy customer needs. Receives clinical peer review by the Sports Rehabilitation Program, PT Clinical Coordinator.
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program
- 2 years’ experience/college experience in ATC would qualify
- Licensed to practice as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Florida
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA)/ Board of Certification
