Provides direct care to pulmonary patients in MICU and PCU. Work includes collaborative practice with case management and treatment teams in the Medical Intensive Care Unit as well as the Pulmonary service in the PCU step down. The successful candidate will be responsible for psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, family meetings, post hospital planning and community resource referrals Must have experience working with chronic illness and palliative care.
Full Time (40 hours)
Previous experience working on an inpatient, adult medical service.
LGSW, LCSW-C preferred.
Works in patient care areas where there are no physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, temperature and the like
