Position Summary:
Reports to the Director, Bundled Rate Contracts and is responsible for the financial management of all bundled payment (risk) contracts. Manages complex oversight of hospital and professional fee billing related to bundled rate contracts for all Johns Hopkins Medicine hospitals except All Children’s Hospital. Ensures all hospital and physician claims are accurately entered into the Bundled Rate billing system. This includes accurate inclusion/exclusion of parameters related to the bundled rate contract, ensuring the billing, collections, payment distribution and HSCRC compliance reporting of bundled payments. Point of contact for financial questions related to bundled contract billing interfacing with inter/intra-departmental, complex accounts and external customers. Calculates and distributes physician gainshare and withhold revenue to JHSOM and other entities on an annual basis. Shares in the responsibility for completing and submitting monthly financial statements for Bundled Rate Contracts to JHHC Finance. Responsible for managing the relationship and functionality of billing/contract management system (McBee/Netsmart/Netsmart) with outside vendor.


Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or health care administration is required.

Work Experience:
Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in billing, collections, posting of payments, medical office or health insurance in a health care environment. Three years of experience in Bundled Rate billing is preferred.

8:00 am - 4:30 pm
