A Cardiac Sonographer performs a wide range of complex technical duties utilizing knowledge and skills to ensure consistent quality patient care. Expertise in echocardiography, specialized stress testing and transesophageal echocardiograms is required to provide accurate, safe assessment of patients through diagnostic modalities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situation.
Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally-specific education or an Associate’s degree in Cardiography, Ultrasound or a closely relates field.
One year of previous experience.
Shift: Casual (20 hours per week)
8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Occasional weekend coverage required.
