Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures, coordinating care in an assigned room, and providing patient care.  Responsible for working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health care team.

Shifts: 

Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p

Weekdays, four 10-hour shifts 7a - 5:30p

Requirements:

Independently operates all radiographic and ancillary equipment within multiple disciplines.  

Possesses extensive knowledge of all guidewires, catheters, etc. which provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.  

Analytical ability to determine proper protocols for each modality and perform specialized views for the various modalities worked in.

Utilizes imaging techniques which provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.   

Possesses effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships in all modalities worked that foster optimal team performance and quality patient care.

Possesses the knowledge of basic PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and email.   

Qualifications:

Work requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiolog­ic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.

Minimum 1 year experience in EP/Cath. 

ARRT certified with current registration required.  Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians and current BLS and ACLS certification required.
