At Suburban Hospital, Our Cardiovascular/Trauma Intermediate Care Unit is a combination of Stepdown Level ICU patients focused on thoracic and vascular surgical and trauma patients, stroke care and a full spectrum of acute cardiac care which includes pre/post cardiac intervention, telemetry, acute MI, unstable dysrhythmia, CHF or cardiac related diagnosis. As a Cardiovascular/Trauma Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse you are responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities.
- Full Time, 36hrs per week
- This is a night shift position (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Minimum of 2+ years current experience in PCU/Cardiac Stepdown as RN preferred
- A current Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification.
- Associates of Nursing required, a Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
