The Johns Hopkins Hospital Skip Viragh Outpatient Cancer Building provides treatment and follow-up care for patients with solid tumor diagnosis. Care includes research chemotherapy, immunization infusions, and oral medications. Nurse telephone triage, discharge planning care coordination, and ambulatory clinic evaluation are additional services that are provided.
Shifts: Dayshifts; no weekends required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required
- Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire
- Valid CPR certification required upon hire
- Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience
