Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing assistant is a member of the home support team who is primarily responsible for providing the personal care services as well as various basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities for the patient. These activities are performed in accordance with a written assignment and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

  • CNA certified with MBON;

Your license must show on the MBON with an Active status. Pending or Non-Renewed licenses will need to be updated before you can move forward in the process.

  • Active CPR card;
  • At least 6 months of CNA experience

Work Experience:

  • At least 6 months experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital or nursing home required.
  • Six (6) months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
  • Prefer previous nurse's aide or CNA experience or enrollment in a RN program.
  • Active Maryland Driver's license preferred.
