Under the general supervision of the Manager or Operations Administrator responsible for organizing, managing and directing all technical and staff activities of a radiology division. Assists in planning and managing divisional operations, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures. Prioritizes services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available.

Full-time, Day Shift

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Weekend Work Required

Work Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, East Baltimore Campus



Graduate of an approved AMA diagnostic Imaging program; BA or BS degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:

Valid CPR Certification required. Must be licensed or certified according to modalities requirements and standards. MRI requires ARRT certification.


Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in healthcare.


Comprehensive understanding of radiology procedures and equipment.


Analytical ability is required in prioritizing and evaluating work conducted by area personnel and maintaining quality assurance standards. Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills.

  1. Potential hazard due to radiation and/or high magnetic field.
  2. Possible exposure to communicable disease and hazardous materials, with little likelihood of harm when established health and safety precautions are followed.
