The Clinical Coordinator (NM) is a registered nurse with demonstrated clinical and management skills who is accountable and responsible for maintaining the standards of care, coordinating operations, and supervising personnel in the Emergency Department. A second important function is the ability to work in a collaborative manner with the physicians, shift directors and admission resource managers to facilitate timely patient care considering resources, patient care needs, and quality, safe care. Is responsible and accountable for staffing and scheduling changes once the schedule is posted. Additional responsibilities include ensuring process improvement and service excellence improvement initiatives are followed. Is responsible for the implementation of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and nursing services within the Emergency Department.
40 hours per week
Every third weekend
At least one (1) year experience in direct patient care with current and previous experience in applicable clinical specialty preferred. Minimum of one (1) year management experience preferred.
