Clinical Pharmacy SpecialistAmbulatory Care (Research and Telemedicine)

The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkin School of Nursing is seeking a motivated individual to assume a clinical pharmacist position in a grant-funded position evaluating pharmacist telemedicine services in hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and Type 2 diabetes. The individual will work with interdisciplinary teams in primary care clinics to provide telemedicine comprehensive medication management, initiate and optimize pharmacotherapy, provide patient education, and participate in research team activities. The individual will work with the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to provide direct patient care via telemedicine video and telephone visits across the State of Maryland. In addition to research team projects and direct patient care the pharmacist will have an academic appointment with the School of Nursing and have some teaching responsibilities in pharmacology graduate courses.
