Responsible for the supervision, coordination and delivery of quality Medical/Surgical home care nursing. Directly supervises field nurses and intake staff in the Medical Surgical department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a BSN degree or higher.

Work Experience:

Three to five years acute care experience and/or training. One- year home care experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, JCAHO and commercial third party reimbursement desired. Computer literate.


Licensed to practice nursing in the states where services are rendered. Current CPR certification
