The Contracts Manager reports to the Director of Sourcing for the Johns Hopkins Health System and is responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide-range of clinical and non-clinical supply chain contracts, including contracts for medical equipment and related supplies, product purchases, and services. As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing first draft template agreements, preparing redline drafts of contracts, and working with the Legal Department to ensure that all legal contract requirements are met. You will serve as a resource within the Sourcing Division for questions and issues arising in connection with contract terms, processes, procedures and systems and will be responsible for facilitating process improvements and participating in departmental planning and implementation of strategic goals for the Division of Sourcing.
As a Contract Manger you must be proactive and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as have excellent critical thinking skills.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Educational degrees including a focus on writing or paralegal certificate are preferred. Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant contract related work experience, 5 years experience is preferred. Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts is required. Healthcare and strategy development experience is a plus. Experience or training to support legal and contract analysis responsibilities is required.
