The Core Service Specialist will ensure that the preregistration process is performed to completion. This process ensures precertification (when applicable) financial work-up and documentation of notes are obtained to inpatient and outpatient departmental protocol. The CSS will provide patients with educational material and physician information when required.
Full-Time 40 hours per week
Day Shift 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m
Weekend Work Required
Work Location: Johns Hopkins at Keswick, Baltimore, MD
High School Diploma or GED. BS/BA Degree preferred
1-2 years related medical office, hospital, medical call center or similar customer service environment. Typing 30 wpm
Certification: Epic certification required within 90 days.
