Reports to the Manager of Customer Service and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the activities of workers engaged in handling service inquiries of providers, members and their benefit plans, received via incoming telephone calls, mail, internet (e-mail), etc.

  • Requires a professional level of business administration and/or management generally obtained in the first two years of college or equivalent work-related experience. Bachelor’s degree in business administration /management or related discipline preferred.
  • Requires excellent communication, both oral and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all internal and external customers.
  • Requires at least 3-5 years of managed care or health insurance experience and/or experience in an inbound call center.
  • Requires at least one year previous experience in a supervisory or senior/lead capacity.
