The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience leading a team of nursing education and clinical nurse specialists to ensure the best possible education and training programs for all nursing staff across the organization. In this position, he/she would partner with senior nursing leadership to establish professional development goals that include but are not limited to formal educational and certification goals to support the achievement of the magnet designation.

Pay grade - Exec 20
Five to seven years of nursing education management experience required. Experience with functionality of clinical information systems and how they impact workflow and clinical practice in acute setting preferred.
Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education required; Doctorate degree strongly preferred
Maryland RN License required; AAACN Certification in Nursing Admin or Staff Development a plus
Location: Works in normal office environment where there is little discomfort to due to the extremes of heat, dust, noise, temperature and the like
