Reporting to the Senior Director of Planning Analysis and Business Intelligence, the Director, Planning and Market Analysis provides leadership and support to institutional strategic, business, and market planning efforts across JHM. The position leads the development and implementation of sophisticated decision support tools and analytic capabilities to advise and guide senior leaders across JHM (e.g., capacity modeling, workforce supply and demand, volume forecasting). Working with departments across Johns Hopkins Medicine, the position leads the development of common standards for data definition and measurement and leads efforts to standardize reporting tools and processes. The position works closely with Finance to coordinate and facilitate long-range clinical volume planning activities across the system. The position also leads the development of competitive intelligence data sets and distributes this information to guide the decision making.

Full-time, Day Shift

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Work Location: Johns Hopkins at Keswick, Baltimore, MD 21211

Education:

Requires a Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, IT or Health Care Administration.

Work Experience:

A minimum of five (5) - seven (7) years of progresseive health care experience is required. Experience in financial analysis, IT, and/or planning is strongly preferred.
