Under direction of Distribution Center Management coordinates various buying programs; resolves invoice problems; performs buying functions and fills in for supervisor when absent. Also responsible for being the focal point for all inquiries to the Distribution Center for distribution of information and documents. Contacts member institutions, Corporate Purchasing, and vendors to gather information, place orders, and resolve problems. Coordinates the proper flow of supplies from vendors and develops alternative vendor sources for out-of- stock items. Accountable for establishment and updating of departmental files, catalogs, and associated records, and for the performance of other related functions.
Must have a high working knowledge of computers/word processing.
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a G.E.D. Certification.
Five years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Must have good analytical and interpersonal skills.
Required Licensure, Certification:
Machines, Tools, Equipment: Material handling equipment, computers, fax machine and calculator.
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperature and dirt. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects. Must be willing to work all shifts. Must be able to work under stressful conditions, requiring accuracy and consistency.
