Location: 600 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Weekend work required

Non-Exempt; Pay Grade: NJ

Position Summary:

Investigates building systems and documents operational data. Prepares recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs and evaluations. Aids the onsite building operations team in the daily trouble-shooting and repairs of mechanical system. This work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Engineering Operations, under the technical oversight of the Senior Engineering Project manager, and the daily oversight of the hospital Maintenance Manager.

The candidate for this position must have 5 years of experience in the Building Automation Trade. Completion of a trade apprenticeship program is preferred. The position requires some occasional off-shift work to meet the hospital needs. Knowledge of DDC systems is required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. An AA degree is preferred.

A masters electrical license is preferred.

Specific training in the area of expertise (engineering and/or maintenance discipline) equivalent to 1 year of college; such training may be at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.

Keeps current with changing technology and practices in the industry.

Work Experience:

10 years related work experience.
