Primary responsibility is servicing as the chief technical strategist recommending and designing solutions to support JHHC business. This includes designing new solutions as well as continual evaluation of current architecture and technical designs to meet business demands. Extensive experience in enterprise architecture as acquired through hands-on experience in multiple technology departments is required. Will create the long and short term architectural vision in collaboration with both business and IS departmental stakeholders. Scope of responsibility includes complete technical hardware and software environments. Requires exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

Lead and manage strategic activities, including adoption of enterprise products and continuous integration strategies.

Partners with key stakeholders during the creation, documentation and communication of the technical solutions.

Creates technical solutions to align with business requirements using appropriate tools according to best practices (e.g., CMMI, Six Sigma, ITIL, etc.).

Leads complex programs that span multiple projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and lines of business.

Integrates existing infrastructure with new applications by selecting the technology that provides the best solution for business needs.

This role will act as a mentor to junior team members.

Requirements:

  1. Education:

Bachelor’s degree with Master’s highly preferred.

B. Knowledge:

Conceptual and practical knowledge of cloud computing paradigm, mobile computing paradigm, IoT. Deep understanding of distributed computing structures emphasizing network management, application development, database management and operations; experience in budgeting and financial and feasibility impact studies a plus.

Knowledge of Middleware technologies (i.e., MDM, ETL, ESB, SOA and Federation)

Familiar with software development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Waterfall)

Knowledge of Object Oriented Languages & Concepts (C#, .net, Java, REST, Spring, Hibernate, Design Patterns)
Knowledge of Database technology (SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB)
Knowledge of Systems Security technology
Knowledge of Business Process Management methodologies
Awareness of technology trends and a passion to stay abreast of emerging technologies
Ability to prepare and present information to senior associates, vendors and management with sufficient notice and preparation.

C. Skills:

Good interpersonal skills and teamwork

Strong communication skills

Ability to translate business needs into solution design using visualization is required.

E. Work Experience:

Requires 10 years of experience in supporting both proprietary and commercially licensed systems in an IT environment. Additional education may substitute for experience. Hands-on experience in multiple phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)

Extensive experience in enterprise architecture as acquired through hands-on experience in multiple technology departments is required.
