The Executive Assistant supports the Chair of Neurosurgery. Assist with faculty meetings by scheduling the meetings, arranging speakers and taking minutes. Prepares call schedules. Attends clinic with the Chair to assist in patient flow. Coordinates patient care needs. Post surgical cases. Works on credentialing for new practitioners or those that need emergency privileges. Coordinates the neurosurgery faculty meetings. Maintains the Chairs calendar. Assists with travel arrangements and event planning. Assists with the OR schedule and distributes weekly. Maintains database of OR time released. Submits service requests. Assist with onboarding the new Physician Assistants and Neurosurgery. Assists with the scheduling of the Physician Assistants students.
