The Medical Oncology Financial Counselor - I provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate timely access to care, ensure a seamless revenue cycle process and to help overcome health care system barriers through all phases.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate and 3-5 years of previous hospital experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the necessary, skills, and abilities for the position.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of third party billing regulations, collection policies and procedures, and assisted care regulations is required.
