Position Summary:

This position reports to the Director of Finance and provides Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Executive decision-makers with change-based, project-oriented analyses to diagnose the reason for an unexpected trend or to evaluate the impact of a proposed alternative approach to business opportunities. This includes Financial Analysis, Business Planning, Budgeting, financial/accounting/billing/budgeting problem solving for JHH, JHU, and JHBMC. This position will work with other departmental and/or central administrative personnel on various projects. Provides any other finance-related assistance needed to support Johns Hopkins Medicine.


Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field. Master’s or other advanced degree preferred.

Work Experience:

Five or more years of experience in finance. Some experience in accounting is strongly preferred. Some experience in either university or hospital financial operations is required. Must have intermediate experience in Excel and ACCESS.

Required Licensure, Certification:

CPA or PMP preferred but not required (inactive status is okay)

8:3 0am – 5:00pm
