Under general supervision, and following established procedures, receives visitors or patients, ascertains their needs and directs them accordingly; periodically escorts patients; answers telephone and provides general Hospital information.
Knowledge of reception procedures.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
6 Months to 1 year experience in a similar work environment.
Day, Full Time (40 hours)
6:00 am-8:00 pm
Weekend work required.
The desks operate 7 days a week/365 days a year including holidays.

Interpersonal skills to communicate with groups of people from various backgrounds and experiences. Ability to read, write, and give accurate information to visitors, patients and Hospital employees. Demonstrated ability to learn floor plan of Institution, location of clinics and other areas, policies and procedures and contacts in a short period of time.
Required Licensure, Certification:
Located at Information Desks throughout visitor lobbies; occasional discomfort due to temperature changes indoors and out.
