Infusion Collection Specialist II
*Potential to Work from Home Several Days/Week*

Reporting to the Department Manager, the Infusion Collection Specialist II demonstrates an advanced level of proficiency in third party payer collections. Ability to secure payment for Specialty Home Infusion Therapy Services provided by Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, and able to contact and follow-up with patients and third-party payers.. Independently troubleshoots and resolves complex patient and payer issues. Acts as a resource and helps to train others. Resolves debit and credit balance accounts. Additional duties may include payer audits, software system testing, special projects and all other duties as assigned by manager. Home infusion therapy billing and collection experience is preferred, Medical terminology and coding, computer literate with knowledge of billing software systems is necessary. Skills must include good communication and organizational, high degree of attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, good written and verbal communication, data entry and typing, office equipment and previous billing experience. Must demonstrate an exceptional maturity and willingness to maintain harmonious working relationship.

Work Experience: Two (2) years medical billing experience required.
