The Reimbursement Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and operations of their designated payer team. The position works closely with operations leadership for coordination of patient care and account collections. The position will ensure the highest level of quality and customer service is maintained. Specific duties include Team policy and process improvement, staffing assessment, collecting and monitoring staff productivity, customer service and employee complaints, assisting with hiring, disciplinary action, training and evaluations of staff. Maintaining effective communication with payer representatives, management and staff. Acts as liaison between operations and reimbursement. Some local travel may be required.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred

Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in health care setting - DME or IV, as appropriate, preferred
  • Minimum two years leading/supervising staff in a healthcare collections or billing setting
  • Minimum two years with either government compliance or payer audits
