1.Provides daily management of the Center including developing and monitoring volunteer and vendor schedules, conducting inventory ordering and control and management of related business logs, tracking sales of products and services, and general administrative functions including answering phones, scheduling patient appointments and checking patients in.
2.Monitors and provides regular updates to the Director and occasional updates to volunteer boards about the utilization of Center services, client feedback, and business/partnership opportunities to expand services.
3.Serves as the primary point of contact for clients' questions, concerns or requests for information and services. Serves as primary navigator of resources for patients, including both Center and community resources. Registers patients for services/classes/programming taking place in the Center. Maintains database of client contact details.
4.Cultivates relationships with local medical practices to increase client referrals and respond to the needs of their patients.
5.In partnership with the Director, the Health Promotion Manager, and other hospital leaders, develops integrative therapy service offerings for employees (as part of employee wellness activities) and outpatient offerings within the Center.
6.In partnership with the Director, seeks novel community partnerships to enhance integrative health offerings in the Center in a financially sustainable way.
7.Actively participates in cancer-related community events to promote the mission and services of CMTBCRC as well as other health promotion community events. Partners with the Howard Hospital Foundation (HHF) in their ongoing efforts to raise funds to support the operating costs of the Center.
8.Supports vendor relationships including contract monitoring.
9.Prepares and manages an annual budget; schedules expenditures; analyzes variances; and initiates corrective actions. Develops and shares regular reports on Center performance (e.g. client volume by service, general sales, etc.) Prepares invoices, bank deposits and sales tax reports.
10.Oversees the Center's facility operations and coordinates any needed repairs with Facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols.
11.Works closely with Volunteer Services and community partners to identify volunteers for the Center and build volunteer base. Provides management of volunteers, including training new volunteers, ensuring ongoing compliance with procedures and standards of volunteer service and assigning specific tasks and assignments. Tracks volunteer hours and performance. Identifies new areas of need for volunteer opportunities.
12.Ensures maintenance of Center's necessary licensure (State of Maryland Traders license for chain store and the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation State Board of Cosmetologists Full Service Salon license).
