IT PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

The IT Project Administrator coordinates various Application and IT groups for Epic related upgrades and deployments for endpoint devices. The scope of this work primarily focuses on but is not limited to, the BCA (Business Continuity Access) workstations, Welcome check-in kiosks, Welcome tablets, Tracker Boards, and Census Boards for JHH and Sibley Memorial Hospital.
The IT Project Administrator will have direct interaction with Epic Application Coordinators, customers, other IT groups, and vendors. BCA (Business Continuity Access) report validation. Provide guidance to CTS team members on configuration and troubleshooting of Epic endpoint devices. Assist with planning, tracking, and documentation for endpoint fleet refreshes, upgrades, and other initiatives. Create and maintain all documentation for the endpoint device projects, including but not limited to, build sheets, inventory spreadsheets, help desk matrices, on-call tip sheets. Participate in Enterprise Workgroups/Committees for Epic BCA workstations and Epic Welcome kiosks and tablets.
Required Work Experience: Requires demonstrated 4-6 years IT experience or previous participation in IT projects with large scope. Additional education may be substituted for experience. Requires basic knowledge and understanding of the interrelationships of enterprise infrastructure technologies and information systems applications.
Effective meeting management, presentation, time management and communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate processes to lead people and manage resources to achieve desired result. Must be goal oriented, pragmatic, self-disciplined, and organized with ability to facilitate, interact effectively with all levels of management.
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Information Systems, Business Administration, Management or Project Management. Work experience may be substituted for degree where appropriate.
Project Management Certification or related experience is preferred. Knowledge of health care.
