Job Duties: Under direction of a Registered Nurse performs duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team in surgical services such as scrubbing on all types of operative procedures, obtaining and preparing instruments and equipment and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment. The JHSCS Surgical Technician will flex to the Central Sterile Processing Unit and other areas of the JHSCS when needed to support the daily operations of the JHSCS.
Full Time (40 hours)
Day shift
7:00am-3:30pm
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Surgical Technician program or successfully completed an Accelerated Alternative Delivery Surgical Technology (AAD-ST) certificate program.
License/Certification: Surgical Technician certification preferred. Valid CPR card is required
Experience: Minimum of three years prior experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.
