Welcome to the heart of medical excellence at Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Nelson 3! Prepare to embark on an exhilarating journey in a vibrant 23-bed medical unit, where the most complex adult medical cases are met with passion and empathy by the Registered Nurse. This is a 23-bed medical unit which primarily cares for a variety of complex adult medical patients including those with acute gastrointestinal, cardiac, renal, hepatic, endocrine and respiratory disorders. Nelson 3 is a family-feel unit that utilizes team work and positivity to build relationships with the multidisciplinary team and provide exceptional patient care.
The Lead Clinical Nurse provides guidance and direction to staff and acts in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical team during care delivery and unit operations.
Shifts: 12 hour Day Shift

Qualifications:
- BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing program required.
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
- The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of acute care RN work experience; prefer JHH work experience
- Ability to lead others, assist in development & implementation of procedures for the unit, use principles of conflict resolution, recommend resource utilization, and implement performance management of staff.
