Our Meyer 7 - Acute Inpatient Rehab the LPN will care for a variety of medical and surgical patients who require intensive rehabilitation. We offer inpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy at our 18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Our team of experts specialize in rehabilitation care for amputation, spinal cord injury and dysfunction, complex medical conditions, brain injury and illness, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke.

Our Comprehensive Inpatient Integrated Rehabilitation Programs help patients prepare for independent living after they leave the hospital. The home-like setting allows patients the freedom to perform their own care with the guidance of a team of experts including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, rehabilitation nurses, psychologists, dietitians, orthotists, and rehabilitation physicians (physiatrists).

Candidate qualifications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position:

  1. No LPN work experience required
  2. 6 months of recent related health care experience preferred
  3. High school diploma or equivalent GED
  4. An active Maryland State LPN license is required
  5. Active BLS (Heatlhcare Provider) CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
