Analytical ability required to schedule patients with available mammography rooms; calculate and select proper technical factors to ensure proper machine function; determine appropriate patient positioning to achieve specialized examinations.

Active participation in student instruction in radiologic procedures required. Instruction to patients explaining x-ray procedures being performed is required. Ability to plan and prioritize work loads and function as technical resource, troubleshooter. Requires interpersonal skills.

Work requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiolog¬ic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.

3 to 6 Months experience performing mammography Radiology procedures

ARRT Mammography certified with current registration. Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required. CPR certification required within three months of employment.
