The Radiation Oncology Clinical Associate will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and will performs specialized patient care functions for oncology patients in a fast-paced environment. Delivers patient care in an outcome-oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate and cost effective manner. Through skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, the Proton Therapy Clinical Associate assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life.
Work Location: Washington D.C.
Full time 8am-4:30pm
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1.High school graduate or equivalent.
2.Certified Nursing Assistance license or equivalent, comparable training/job experience and ability to demonstrate needed
3.CPR training is required; basic life support training/certification.
4.Three (3) years clinical experience of which at least one (1) year is oncology experience preferred.
