The Medical Supply Clerk accurately receives, stores, and delivers supplies. Records all stocked supplies issued to requesting departments, obtains required signature on requisition slips, and responds to "Stat" requests. Required to lift and transport boxes of supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds using material handling equipment. This entails lifting and reaching shelves up to 72" high as well as near ground level. Transports materials weighing up to 150 lbs. in carts or other carriers.

Work Location: Washington D.C.

Full time Rotating Shift, Some weekends required

Must be able to work day/evening hours depending on need

7:00am - 3:30pm and 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Minimum Education and Experience:

1.High school graduate or equivalent with some higher education or training is required.
2. No special training or experience is mandatory; however, experience in medical supplies or in warehousing and inventory control are highly desirable.
3. Required to lift and transport boxes of supplies weighing from 50 to 75 pounds. Required to lift, transport, and deliver equipment weighing up to 50 pounds using material handling equipment.
4. Basic computer skills required to include e-mail.
