Performs a variety of both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established standards and procedures with minimal supervision. Level of supervision is determined by skill level and experience. Has a working knowledge of equipment, processing of specimens, test results and time constraints of test, in their as signed area. If trained as generalists may be assigned to any area or combination of areas. Has a thorough understanding of medical technology as it is related to their specific job category.
Work experience:
Minimum Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology internship and up to two years clinical lab experience.
Certification:
Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, MT/MLS, ASCP or a nationally recognized professional organization is preferred.
3:00pm - 11:30pm
Every 4th weekend 3:00pm - 11:30pm
