The Johns Hopkins Imaging Center in Columbia, MD is seeking an experienced MRI Tech for a temporary assignment. MRI Certification and experience with Siemens Verio 3T preferred.
Shift: Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri: 11a - 7:30p; Sat 2p-10:30p
Reporting to the Johns Hopkins Imaging Site Manager and MRI Lead Technologist, performs Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
Provides radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
Orients physicians, residents, staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.
Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
ARRT certified with current registration required. CPR certification required. ARRT MRI certification preferred.
Prefer MRI training program experience with clinical internship or one year of MRI experience.
Experience on Siemens MRI equipment.
