SUMMARY:

Under medical supervision, the certified technologist uses radiopharmaceuticals to perform various diagnostic radionuclide studies.

Status:

Casual/PRN, less than 20 hours per week

Weekend: On-call only

Education:

Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Experience:

3-6 months of previous experience.

Licensure/Certification:

Licensed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance required. Certified by ARRT or NMCT.
