Responsible for directing the provision of nursing care on L&D, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, & Newborn nursery units on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. You'll be able to take a hands-on approach to supervise and monitor professional, as well as non-professional staff. The manager oversees the care of a diverse perinatal patient population and ensures effective, safe and therapeutic nursing care is provided to meet established standards..
Full Time (40 hours)
8 hour shifts
BSN & MSN or masters in a related field required
Maryland RN licensure, related certification preferred
3-5 years Perinatal experience required, especially in L&D; leadership experience a must; management experience is strongly preferred.
CPR required (AHA)
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
