Neonatal Nurse Practitioner--Bloomberg 8 North NICU
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is a health care team provider who works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for managing the care of high risk neonates and their families. The NNP participates in daily clinical care, transport, education, consultation and research. The NNP is granted affiliate staff privileges by the Johns Hopkins Hospitla Medical Board.
-Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Maryland. Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner by the State of Maryland.
-Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing. Completion of accredited Neonatal program.
-Three years f clinical nursing experience in a tertiary level NICU. Previous experience with neonatal transport (inpatient and transport) desirable.
-Advanced clinical skills in speciality area or equivalent.
-Demonstrates analytical ability necessary to diagnose neonates
-If you order or refer items or services for Medicare beneficiaries and you do not have an enrollment record in the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS), you will need to submit an enrollment application to Medicare to be eligible for employment.
